The European space Security and Education Centre (ESEC) in Belgium is organising new two-day long workshops for primary school teachers, in which they learn more about space robotics and automation processes, using programming environments such as Raspberry Pi and LEGO WeDO.
Tips and tricks demonstrated during these workshops can be particularly useful for teachers who would like to implement more inquiry-based teaching practices in their profession.
Teachers can apply for one of the following two dates available:
- 22 and 23 May 2018. Deadline to apply for this workshop is 9 April 2018.
- 4 and 5 June 2018. Deadline to apply for this workshop is 20 April 2018.
Teachers who would like to participate in either of the workshops can have the cost of their participation covered up to a maximum of 200 euros per teacher.
