STEM Alliance invites schools, teachers, career counsellors, companies and anyone else interested in STEM education to join its “Diversity in STEM” campaign this autumn. The main goal of the campaign is to address stereotypes in STEM education through various activities, a new competition and published resources.
Continuing with the overall theme of “Diversity in STEM”, STEM Alliance invites teachers and career counsellors to take part in its competition before 30 November 2018 either by submitting an activity that promotes diversity in STEM or by creating a STEM careers resource. The aim of this competition is to show how diversity is an essential element for innovation in STEM, and the winners of the competition are invited to an event of the STEM Alliance, in which they can attend workshops on innovative STEM education and career guidance. The STEM Alliance organises and covers the expenses of the winners’ transport and accommodation.
